Official Statement regarding Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre.

Following the latest government guidelines, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to close Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre until further notice. Box Office will be closed from Tuesday 17th March. We are working on postponing and rescheduling the current upcoming shows and will be in touch with anyone who already has tickets for any affected performance in due course. Please bear with us while we make the arrangements.

For anything urgent please contact us via email on boxoffice@blackfriarsartscentre.co.uk and we will respond as soon as possible. 

If you attend private sessions at Blackfriars Theatre with any of our regular hirers please contact the organisers themselves to confirm if the sessions are going ahead.

For those that attend our Theatre and Dance Academy - we have taken the difficult decision that in the interest of safeguarding the children and our staff we are postponing classes for the foreseeable future. We will post regular updates on Facebook and Parentmail on these classes and when they will resume.  If you have any queries please email andrea@blackfriarsartscentre.co.uk and she will respond or forward to the appropriate person.

We would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding at this time and request that if you are contacted about a postponed show but cannot attend the new date that you consider supporting the theatre through this difficult time by either donating the price of the ticket to us or accepting a gift voucher for use at a future performance of your choice.
